Solidor by Aire Valley Glass Gallery
Aire Valley Glass now supply and fit the Rockdoor range of high security doors. The Rockdoor is an engineered door system that combines the best points of a hardwood door with the low maintenance feature of a PVC-U door. Its looks are virtually indistinguishable from a traditional timber door.
The Rockdoor has built a reputation for unsurpassed quality and reliability in its class, and has been designed with your safety and security in mind. The outer frame comes reinforced with a double weather seal, and the inner frame is fitted with a high density core that incorporates all of the lcoking components, making it very strong and virtually impossible to break down. It has also been designed in accordance with the Police-backed ‘Secured By Design’ initiative, which ensures that products are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with strict rigid guidelines aimed at reducing crime.
The realistic wood grain effect texture of a Rockdoor makes it look like a stylish traditional timber door, and like a PVCu door, it will never rot, warp or crack nor need painting. It also hides minor scratches and is easy to clean.
A range of hand made glass designs are available, incorporating sandblasting, gluechip and lead. All units, like all Aire Valley Glass doors, include toughened glass as standard.
At Aire Valley Glass we can supply huge range of designs, or you can design your own individual bespoke door choosing such traditional features as a night latch, low threshold, security chains and so on.
A new product for 2011 is the Rockdoor French Door collection. These doors are made to the same specification as other Rockdoors, and feature full aluminium reinforcement, Secured-By-Design PAS23 and PAS24 approved handles and locking mechanisms, as well as a choice of colours and finishes. These doors are ideal replacements for existing sliding patio and french doors, and they provide an excellent blend of functionality, access and aesthetics.
